I had just seen someone’s ad for an ebook about FavIcons, the
little icons that show in Internet Explorer’s address bar –
and that shows as a Windows Desktop icon if you make a shortcut on the Desktop.

I had seriously considered it,but hadn’t bought it — and I’m glad that I didn’t.

It is one of the MANY items included in this $7 sale… as well as a bunch of other ebooks for personal and/or resale (the rights vary by item and a few are for personal use only).

Among all the other articles, graphics and ebooks was a software package I’d was considering called “Word To Web Page” — and again, happily, I hadn’t bought it yet!

Squidoo and Web 2.0 - Learn More…

I’ve just recently joined Squidoo and quickly set up several “Lense.” A lens is Squidoo’s term for the free one-page-one-topic web page — and into which you can put text, pictures, links, advertising, amazon ads, ebay ads, videos and a lot more.

Did I say ads? Squidoo works somewhat as a co-op, with some ads that they insert into pages and which provide funds for operating. Other ads which we can choose to insert will make money, too — and we can choose whether we get paid or the money goes to charity!

Oh, yeah. You can set up a LOT of lenses — you’re not just limited to one or to one topic. You DO NOT have to know HTML, either. It’s almost all plug-and-play.

AdsenseAccelerator Update

AdsenseAccelerator was briefly open this week - it opened on Wednesday and a few lucky people got in. It filled up quickly. By Friday evening, it was closed to new members again
