Squidoo and Web 2.0 - Learn More…

I’ve just recently joined Squidoo and quickly set up several “Lense.” A lens is Squidoo’s term for the free one-page-one-topic web page — and into which you can put text, pictures, links, advertising, amazon ads, ebay ads, videos and a lot more.

Did I say ads? Squidoo works somewhat as a co-op, with some ads that they insert into pages and which provide funds for operating. Other ads which we can choose to insert will make money, too — and we can choose whether we get paid or the money goes to charity!

Oh, yeah. You can set up a LOT of lenses — you’re not just limited to one or to one topic. You DO NOT have to know HTML, either. It’s almost all plug-and-play.
